Data science is the unified concept of informatics, data analysis, statistics and their related systems in analyzing and understanding the actual phenomena with data. It generally uses the theories and techniques drawn from various fields in computer science, mathematics, statistics, domain knowledge and information science. Moreover, data science was different from information science and computer science. In recent times, the expansion of data science is increased widely; though the data science is expanded drastically, still it finds some challenges in a successful implementation. Thus, the study reviewed the whole nature of Data Science to find the problems and challenges faced in data science. The study reviewed the recent trends inthe business and medical sector and reviewed the online search trends. The problems are identified in data gathering requirements, data visualization, and generating the machine learning models. The application relied on the critical care unit and reviewed unsupervised algorithms. This review guides future research to employ a successful model using data science.
